There are 3 small villages on the island. The main entry point by boat is the Ulee Lheue harbour.
Malaria is common on the islands off the coast of Aceh so make sure you take precautions, malaria tablets or lots of mosquito repellent.
The Australian Red Cross and Indonesian NGOs help restore many homes on Pulay Nasi after the tsunami in 2004.

Only basic accommodation can be found on Pulau Nasi. Some of local may be able to put you up if you ask nicely!
