I stayed one night at Muaros, in the upstairs room in the top picture above. It is a pretty basic resort, but friendly staff, good food, handy to transport and other restaurants (once you navigate along the track that links Muaros with the main road). Some folk had been at Muaros for a few weeks, so must have liked it. I think it is good value, and handy. Recommended on that basis. See

Very friendly staff. The rooms are simple, nice and most importantly super clean. The view from the rooms is also pretty amazing. You can also swim in the lake right in front of the guesthouse (no fisheries). We thoroughly enjoyed our stay.
