I was in Batam during Ramadan of 2009 with 5 co-workers, most of which had 

never been there.  This is the 4th or 5th Muslim country i've been to and 

as usual during their holy month most of the bars have to 'tone it down' a 

bit or during our visit shut down altogether.  I was in Steps early one 

evening with 2 girls and noticed one of the waitresses checking me out.  I 

didn't think I could convince her to have a foursome with us so I went over 

to her, took her picture--a tip I picked up a long time ago, if you are drunk 

take photos so the stories return easier--then i took care of business that 

night and went back the next night.  I walked in during one of the live bands 

sets and looked but couldn't find her.  I showed the mamasan/oldest women in 

the bar my picture and she said she would call her for me.  10 minutes later in

 she walks and says that she can't leave with me while she's working...WTF?  

She just came off the street...working?  My ol' booze brain didn't register 

this so I said i'll come back at closing.  

I came back and she was gone again,

but reappeared like slut magic once the old hag dialed her cell again.  We went 

straight back to the Goodway, no money discussed, no small talk, nothing.  We 

are in the room, the deed was done, and I said I have to work in the morning, 

or I'm leaving early, or whatever--just get the hell out of here. Then it comes:

I want money.  I gave her 30,000 Rp.  That's what my friends were paying, that's

what she was going to get.....but not according to her.  She said 2,000,000.  I 

told her to get fucked.  She said we just did that, weren't you awake?  I said 

'No, no.....get the fuck out of here!  In American slang it means you gotta be 

kidding, or you're mentally unstable, or simply--LEAVE. NOW.  She then affected 

this hurt expression, sat cross-legged on the floor, let the money fall down with

her and started crying about her family, she needs money, blah blah blah.  I 

wasn't it last for a few minutes and then i told her i can't save the

world, i won't even try, that's not why i'm in Batam in the first place.  If that

 was my goal i'd join Greenpeace, the Peace Corps, watch Oprah.......well maybe 

not Oprah but you get my point.  She then picked the money up and demanded 

2,000,000.  I told her she wasn't worth that much and why didn't you bargain 

with me at the bar? Why are you pulling this low-rent shit?  Don't dare try to

scam me.  I went to my room door, opened it, told her to get out and she 

wouldn't.  I tried to pick her up but she scrambled away from me and started

grabbing things and throwing them at me. Most missed and hit the wall behind

me.  All my buds were in the surrounding rooms getting it on and i had this 

crazy bitch making all this racket.  It sucked.  

She then jumped on my back and grabbed my hair and started screaming about

my family and how she would 'go get them to give me my money'!!!  My friend 

Pete next door started banging on the wall telling me to keep it down.  I yelled 

'Help!  This cunt is nuts!!!  I freed her hand from my hair and charged the nearest

wall (with her in front).  This got the bitch "off my back".  She fell like a sack of 

spuds, in walks Pete naked with his naked, sane piece of ass right behind him. 

The local girl tries to calm down the psycho and i throw a towel to Pete.  Me and

him grabbed her shit and threw into the hall where it landed at the feet of the 

security guard who had just arrived.  Luckily for me Pete has a way of charming

women (he pays well) cause his girlfriend diffused the whole situation and the 

loony bird left under security.  

That was two years ago next month and I'm going back soon.  No lessons learned

here--

Typical Asian Girl?? Um....sounds like a serious case of a dumb arse American!! (no offence to the nice Americans reading this). WTF were YOU thinking? You knew what the deal was. You knew she expected money. She definitely wasn't coming back to your hotel to experience your charm! And offering her 30,000Rp?? The price of a pizza or not much change from a large bottle of Bintang. Wake up to yourself chump!

you are a god damn stingy fucker  - The word - fucker comes because you fucked her without helping her. You fucker , heap in your mind- If you go to poor countries like Thailand, Batam- Indonesia, Philippine, Vietnam - girls are very poor. They don't have enough money to help their kids or father , mother. That's why they are coming to fuck you. So, I am am beging to help them.- give them money. 350.000Rps was before. Now 400.000Rps. There are girls on the street. They are cheaper and can get young tiny beautiful girls. they also ask 400.000rpa. for full night 
I am a guitarist, singer in Batam night clubs. So -have girl singers with me. Yes I buy them clothes, cigarette, drink. to sing and dance with me on the stages.
