First time in Batam

The first time I visited Batam I was a bit naïve about the bar girl situation there. I had been to Bangkok a few times and it was all very obvious that the girls there were offering there services though this is not the case in Batam.

I had caught the ferry to Batam from Singapore, checked into my hotel, had a shower and then went looking for a bar for a few drinks and music. I got in a taxi and asked to take me to a bar and he took me to the Nagoya Entertainment district which has plenty of bars to choose from. I walked around a bit and then went into the Classic Pub.

There were a few guys sitting at the bar drinking and 3 girls behind the bar chatting to them. I sat down and quickly had a cold Bintang in my hand. One of the girls came and sat with me and was just chatting away with me. I told her I was on my way to Sumatra and she told me that was where she was from.

We played a few games of pool and I had a heap more beers. After a while she became very flirtatious and told me she liked me. I was very flattered (still being very naïve). After more games of pool, with kisses every time I won a game she asked me where I was staying. I told her the hotel and she asked if I wanted some company that night. Bingo! I had only been in Batam a few hours and already I was getting lucky. She told me she finished work at 1am. It was only 10pm at this stage and I told her I was very tired and wanted to go back to the hotel and couldn’t wait until 1am to take her back. She said ‘no problem, you go back and I come to your room when I finish’ Awesome!!

I gave her my room number and went back to the hotel and watched some TV. Not long after 1am there was a knock on my door and it was her. She came in and hoped on my bed. We started kissing and she pulled off her top and skirt and was laying there in her underwear. She pulled off my pants and kept on kissing me. Things were going well!

Then she stopped kissing me and said ‘Tomorrow you take me shopping?’

OH! I quickly realized that she was not interested in my charm and good looks! I said I couldn’t take her shopping as I had to go get a ticket to fly to Sumatra. She said OK you give me 400,000Rp now. Hmmmm! I said I didn’t want to pay her to have sex with her. She said ‘You not pay you not have sex with Batam girl!’  I told her I didn’t want to pay and she said ‘OK’ and she quickly got dressed and left my room! Not angry and now hassle, just left.

I had quickly learned about Batam Bar girls!
